We understand that the frontal design, particularly the bumper, of modern SUVs and off-road vehicles can be challenging for installation.

For fog lights, the US on-road standard is SAE J538, but off-road lights are not subject to this regulation. They serve as supplementary lighting to OEM fog lights and must be mounted under the bumper, 10-24 inches from the ground, to prevent glare to oncoming drivers. When used in conjunction with OEM low beam headlights, our off-road LED fog lights improve visibility around corners and sharp turns.

When it comes to LED driving lights, it is crucial to find a balance between high-beam performance and road safety. Mounting height determines the length of the beam, with higher mounts resulting in longer beams but posing a greater risk to oncoming traffic. LED driving lights typically come in two beam patterns: Euro beam (Driving Beam) for high-speed night driving with a moderate beam width, and Pencil Beam for performance vehicles like rally cars, featuring an extremely narrow and long beam.

For optimal performance, off-road lights in both beam patterns should be mounted above the bumper or grill, around 14-30 inches from the ground, ensuring safe nighttime driving.
